Deposit: 15% on booking
Balance terms: 85% payable 30 days prior to travel
OUTLINE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Rates/Minimum Hire Periods:
Rates are per day in euros and include unlimited kilometres & VAT
The minimum hire period is seven days
Drivers/Licences
All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a full and current German or International Driving Licence, or a licence recognised by from the country of origin (with translation where applicable), and valid for the type of vehicle being hired. Licences required: Class 3 for any models; Class B for vehicles up to 3,500 kg; Class C1 for vehicles over 3,500 kg. Drivers with licences for classes B and C1 must have held these licences for a minimum of one year.

Depots: Munich (Germany); Hamburg (Germany); Dusseldorf (Germany); Frankfurt (Germany)
Closed for German national holidays: Public holidays: January 6th (Munich closed); March 25th, 26th (Munich, Dusseldorf, and Frankfurt closed), 28th; May 5th, 16th, and 26th; August 15th (Munich closed); October 3rd; November 1st (Munich and Dusseldorf closed). All branches: 24th December - 1 January.
English speaking staff at all depots who will advise and explain all you need to know about driving and using the motorhome.
Airport/StationTransfers
At the present time DRM are not able to offer any special facilities for airport or station transfers. Excellent public transport facilities exist which will enable you to reach our depots easily. Please contact us for more details if required
Insurance
STANDARD INSURANCE:
Standard insurance is included in the hire charge. The hirer is liable for the first € 1000 of any damage caused in any one accident. A bond must be paid at the commencement of the hire to cover this see below).
Bond
All hirers must pay a bond of € 1000 before the commencement of the hire. Providing payment is by credit card this can be paid at the time of pick up. If payment is made by cheque or bank transfer this must be made 30 days prior to pick up. This bond is fully refundable if the vehicle has not been involved in an accident and is returned in a clean and undamaged condition. The hirer is liable for all fines for traffic violations together with parking fees and levies incurred during the period of the hire.
Cleaning
Interior cleaning charges if required (May be higher if necesary):€100
Cleaning or emptying of toilet if required: €150
General Conditions
The Company reserve the right to make deductions over and above the bond for any of, or multiples of the following:
Missing or damaged equipment. The fuel tank is not refilled. A charge will be made if the vehicle is not returned in a clean condition and the toilet is not emptied and chemically recharged
The Company regrets that it is unable to offer any refunds for vehicle returns before the due date, or unused rental days, unless another hirer can be found.
In the event of mechanical failure or major accident rendering the vehicle unserviceable and no alternative vehicle is available, liability will be to only refund those actual lost rental days.
Hired vehicle operated outside the terms on the rental agreement have no insurance cover and the hirer is liable for the entire cost of damage. This includes gross negligence and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, inappropriate use or overloading and failure to observe the vehicle dimensions.
The hirer is strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance to cover personal property, medical expenses and personal injury. Citizens of EU countries are recommended to take with them a valid E111 which may in part cover them for medical costs where those countries have reciprocal agreements.
Changes to Reservations
For any changes after the reservation has been confirmed DRM will levy a charge € 20. Any changes are subject to availablity.
